Default RE: E-FLITE BLADE CP PRO

Dougwill,

Glad to hear you're using the Radd system, great thing to have if you don't have outside help. You may be over copensating, it's pretty normal for beginners. You only need 1/8 inch or 1/4 inch of right stick to make corrections at most. Just be patient, it will be easier down the road.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by "the centering is not really great", the centering of what part?

If you've noticed that the blades are moving in and out quite a bit, add one shim to each side, recheck and make a test flight.
You may have to add more than 1 to each side. There's a fine line between not enough and to many shims. Better 1 less than 1 to many. 1 to many will make the response a little slugish or cause the tail to bounce up and down a few inches.

Don't forget to lubricate the 'O' rings in the rotory assembley and the swash plate once in a while. Also, the upper and lower main frame bearings, and the tail rotor bearings.

Hi! All Still in the hover mode and I'm starting to get the hang of it. Thanks to the Radd system, I have avoided any serious crashes. My hovers seem to be more of circles and trying to avoid over compensating. The centering is not really great. Do you think it is due to servos or could it be something else. My blades seem to move in and out quite a bit. Shims might help i guess. How much play is to much?
