It always seems to spoil things when the canopy goes away--Is it OK?
Thanks for the flight report. Sounds promising--like a good combo. Did you get a weight on the plane with the 40 on it? Can you tell much difference with the increased pound or so of weight?
Did not get a weight on it yet. It doesn't seem like there is a difference. It flys pretty much the same. Predictable and unbelievably stable. I'm gonna get some fish scale and rpm numbers on it tomorrow. I do have to say though, that the YS160 does have a lot more power, I'm pretty sure that even once broken in the birelli still will not have the same power.

I bet once you get the right prop on there (pt20x8) you will feel a noticeable improvement (not saying it will = YS on 30%). Remember, on pull out from hover you are now ~ + pound. Thanks doing this testing.
