That sounds like crazy amount of "grinding wheel" going on there . . Does the DA50 need the same amount???

Extended amounts of break-in time on an engine with a cast-iron liner and ringed aluminim piston is usually only necessary with poor manufacturing tolerances, or unnecessarily tight piston/bore clearance.

I'm about to go out and run in two 100cc Yamaha racing Gokart engines. Two sessions of 10 minutes each and they are ready to race . . at 15,500 rpm.
