Default RE: Official Thread for the Go 21 Engine

Hello everyone I am the owner of racefactor industries the U.S. dist. for Go Tech. engines. I thought i would come on here to answer any questions about the Go Tech line of engines. So if anyone has any questions fire away and i will try to get on here as often as possible.

Regarding the O.S. turbo button head, even if the o.s. turbo button head fits the bolt pattern of the go engine i would reccomend against it. There is .2mm of shimming machined into the go tech turbo button head, this coupled with two shims (1x.1mm, 1x.2mm) to give you .5mm of head clearance, If you were to use the o.s. head you may end up with an improperly shimmed head and that can cause all kind of tunning and performance issues. Best way to check is to open up the engine and check for detonation. If you do have detonation i reccomend a complete teardown and cleanup of the engine to help get any metal chips out of the engine. All this is uneccesary if you just purchase a Go Tech Turbo head button part no. 21-0207 (please see your local dealer)

also the o.s. p3 plug seems to work great
