Default RE: Which is better-Goldberg or Thunder Tiger Cub???

Hey,

The thunder Tiger Cub is 184.99 and the Carl Goldberg is 174.99 and the H9 Cub is 199.99. I have flown both the Carl Goldberg and the H9 Cub, they both fly great and just about the same. The difference is that the H9 cub has a 2 peice wing and the Carl Goldberg comes with a 1 wing set and looks a little less scale than the H9, Unless you get the Carl Goldberg Anniversary addition and I beleive that has a 2 Piece wing. I personally do recommend a 4 stroke because you can swing a big prop and you want to swing the biggest prop possible on a scale cub because you want more thrust and you want to be able to fly it as slow and as scale as possible. I also do recommend the Magnum they are no longer bad engines and I have 2 of them myself and have no problem. I do not recommend a Magnum 90 that is just way overpowered for that plane. I recommend you get a Magnum 4 Stroke 70 thats not only perfect but you have enough power to pull out in case of emergency. I also like to mention, Cubs are AMAZING in the wind, matter of fact I prefer to fly my cub in the wind because you can practically fly backwords and float that sucker its amazing and you will love it, The best landing is landing a cub in the wing comming in Crab like and touching it only on the mains. You will enjoy the cub trust me. You can get a good deal in tower hobbies for the magnum 70 at around 125 bucks. You get 25 dollars of an order of 150 so what you should do is order the engine which is around 125 and order some props as big as possible for the magnum 70 which is i beleive a 14 x 7 and go up to 150 and then use the coupon code and bring it back down to 125.
