thanks for the reply guys. my son matt will have a pin in his finger for 4 weeks or so and 6 months of therapy . he will probably need another operation to separate the tendon from the bone. around x-mas time. no baseball this year .

as to getting another hobby (no but heck no )

my son has been flying for two years and other than the first day he got hurt he has no plans of giving up on flying.
