The "Street price" varies. Tower usually sells things for the least allowable advertised price. The companys that distribute the R/C products have minimum advertised sales prices so that the local hobby shops can stay alive. If you look close enough and call around you can probably find a better deal. There are two hobby shops near me one sells things for about the same price as tower and the other sells for about 10-20 percent higher than Tower's price. I personally try to buy as much as I can from the LHS that has good prices because It is nice to have a shop close and the people that own it are great people.
