Hey guys is just bought my first DP Ultimate. I picked it up used with a saito 180w/pitts muffler and a smoke system installed. This guy had a tone of weight on the front cowling, it must be to offset the smoke tank wich is behing the cg. He had a 16X8 wood prop which had to be spinning 11,000 ( i'm not sure i have not picked up a new meter yet, but it was zinging). I through that in the trash and installed a apc 18X6w and it has a good sound. I won't get to fly it for a while we got a lot of snow in wisconsin so if you present owners can send me any advice on what i need to look out for to prep it for fair weather I would appreciate it. And if anyone knows what the best CG for a good stable 3D fly please send it to me.
