What you have sounds ok, Just be sure you are not going to pull to much power from your BEC (most small esc's will only run 3 mini servos safely) you should get some deans connectors for you lipo. I am also assuming your kit comes with all the hardware you will need to connect control surfaces ect. All the foamy jets i have built fly very well with off the shelf micro radio gear. As with any RC plane keep the weight down and it will go hard. You should also make yourself aware of the risks involved with lipo's. Please dont become another fire statistic.
