I cut out the wing damage today and started striping the Cub. The Dope and fabric doesn't want to peal off very well, I'm going to have to sand it off. The Control Surfaces came off well. Here are the pictures of some of the cracks and damage.







Here is the pic where I cut out the crushed part of the wing.





[sm=lol.gif] Look what I found! It's amazing that this plane flew at all. Dan used a Prop Blade and glued it in to support the frame. OMG, Now I think I've seen it all.



Plane is half way striped.






Now, for those who couldn't tell what engines I was showing in the picture, they are the old Webra's 6.5 ccm. I rebuilt the two, and in the prosses of making them look new by polishing them with Never Dull and a Electric Polisher.
