So lxcoup....

With all your testing (greatly appreciated since I have yet to make the final engine decision) which is your overall favorite choice the Brielli or the YS? Yours is the 40 not the 46 right? Thanks so much for the pics and info.

The engine I have is the Brillelli 40GT. I'd have to say if you are a more experienced 3d pilot go with the brillelli. If you can afford it and need that extra punch out go with the YS. I am starting to favor the 40GT just because of price of operation. The 40 has +or- 5lbs less thrust then the YS (16lbs vs 21lbs), 16lbs is enough to get out of trouble with very good pull out. The YS is just an animal. If you decide to go YS I can make you a deal on everything you need. Engine (i bought the engine new for this plane)2 gallons thru it, hyde soft mount and NMP header and exhaust.

Goodluck

Not sure about the 40GT, but all the #'s I have seen with the 46BL show that with the right prop you can expect a Solid 20LB's of thrust. I think the weight is 4oz more than the 40GT.
