Default RE: CMP..Good or bad?

ORIGINAL: jship

For MY $$ I will stay with the quality kits and afrs. I have had one CMP, It flew like a rock, heavy. This is just My personal experience. Someone with more experience than Me could have better luck. To Me this is not personal, it just My experience with a Kat 50.

Peter Dowling makes a good point. BULL-RCU makes a good point.

Thank you John

I agree about certain arfs that are not built for certain People or types of flying. I owned a VMar 540 edge. It flew very heavy and snap at a dime. Now I had a 61 2stoke in it and it would fly, but not as well as many I flew. It was built like a brick and a 540 should be light on it's wings. Others like some of the VMAR planes they buy... For the same money I could list a couple simuler planes to that 540 edge I think are a better value. I do not bash the whole line of VMAR I have not built or flown them all.

Is there something simular to the Kat 50 that you have found that you think flys or buuilt better?
