Default RE: CMP..Good or bad?

CMP good or bad , I guess its in the eye , experience and feel of the purchaser . I am not going to defend CMP anymore because I dont get paid by them lol and some people just get to emotional over the entire thing lol [X(].

For the original person who started this post please understand , in my humble opinion , remember its all me , I love them !!!! . I dont want to define you as a modeler or not by unknown ability on my end , i dont know you personally or your skills .
I will say this , CMP or any arf , need to be tweeked --again in my opinion , again my opinion and experience from building planes and assembling arfs and reading every post of interest from skyshark , H9 , CMP , VMAR ,VQ , evergreen , ect ect has shown me that many of the members on rcu will not fly any arf out of the box with out some safety mods, hardware mods or reinforcement .

Does that make those who dont any less or better , no its just my experience . I have had my H9 corsiar for two years problem free ...why ??? because i glassed the firewall , the retracts bays , rails and front gull bend and guess what , no issues ect ect .
I have had my VQ p40 , flying 3 years , same deal .

If I invest , spend , steal a plane for $75 tp $300 bucks from a shop or ebay , do you think I am going to risk it on one or two simple elements that I feel are less them quality or somewhat in question .

If you read the post and articles on guys who never crash (thats not me by the way lol ) you will see one resounding similarity ----redundancy in there dedication to check and recheck everything . Because I dont build in this time of my life and my planes range from 90 to 180 4 stroke size engines , I feel for the safety of those around me to check everything .
As a result I wont trust any hardware , wood , or any thing to chance , not just to save my model , but to be responcible ... again in my opinion .

Therefore , with my redundency (spell check ) I will invest in any hardware , flberglass or anything that makes my planes better .

So with a littel TLC , in my book CMP just like H9 and many of the others are great values for your money .
