Default RE: Throttle servo binds

Assuming you have the RTF version like mine...

Remove the throttle servo control arm from the servo and loosen the allen head bolt that locks down the throttle control rod.

Move the throttle arm on the carb with the clevice and control rod still attached and check for free movement. This should move easily. If a bind is detected remove the clevise from the carb and try to free the bind.

Turn on your transmitter and your plane and reduce the throttle to zero (and trim to zero) paying attention to the direction the servo rotates the servo arm to zero.

Replace the servo arm onto the servo with the arm about 45 degrees off of perpendicular (90 degrees) in the direction the Arm rotates to zero.

Rotate the carb barrel untill it is fully closed and tighten the allen head bolt to lock the throttle control rod.

Advance your throttle trim to full open and ensure the throttle barrel opens to at least 1/8 inch at the widest point of the cresent. Adjust as nessisary to achieve the minimum.

Advance your throttle stick to 100% and ensure the carb barrel opens fully. adjust as nessisary.
