I strongly disagree that having the c of g too far forward is a safe place to start. It will turn this model into one that doesn't want to turn corners and that will drop its nose towards the ground when it is banked over, not to mention the difficulty getting a stable landing attitude and speed established.

I have used the following c of g recommended by blackcat and found it to be right on the money (with exactly the same version of the kit):

with tanks empty and wheels down c of g is 25mm BEHIND the front spar.
