The stock brake works fine on my Jato. Just don't expect to stop on a dime. I don't think any of the brakes of R/C will do that. If your looking at a curb at 60, best bet would be to try to steer away from it. All trees and mail box posts have very strong Jato magnets inside. Later, Bob
