I've got three Tower 46's.
One of them has a hundred flights on it. I never did anything to the engine. It has the air leak. The head isn't purple anymore. I never bothered with the head gaskets.

I don't understand why you would want to run the engine with an air leak?
Wouldn't it be better to have the leak sealed then tune the engine for peak power?
