I used a seperate channel for the rudder, and could use it or not as I wanted.
When I used the seperate aileron servos instead of the fuselage mounted style, I found out something interesting.. the wing broke at the rib at the inboard end of the elevon. Apparently the torque tube normally used stiffened the wing against bending! I had to add a spar on the bottom from the center out to the elevon spar.
