Default RE: Regular guy's Phenom thread

ORIGINAL: Razor-RCU

Well for those of you who are average builders who operate on the RC hobby on a budget less than the Queen of England, I submit to you my Phenom build thread!

I have an old run-down, beat up, poorly lit, leaky shed where I attempt to build my RC models. Please find below for your approval my first post and pic of my Oakdale Phenom.

My Dremel battery is dead and I cannot find the charger, but I began construction in earnest this afternoon.

The good news is the ARF is world class quality with easy to follow instructions-
The bad news is I had 4 margaritas (Cazadores is good but Centenario is better) and I had my DVD player going so I did not get much done-(See Dremel info. above)

I REALLY need my Dremel to be charged and ready to roll I think...

More to follow...
Razor, you really need to get your priorities straightened out.

I do not have a DVD player for my workshop.
Dremel #1 has CORD! No need for charging. (xmas gift 3 years ago)
Dremel #2 has a CORD and a flex shaft. (Xmas last year)
Dremel #2 came with accessory kit. see pic #2
OK the drill has a battery, spare battery, but the charger is hard to miss see 3rd pic.
Porter-Cable drill was door prize from a machine tool dealers open house.
Queen of England left in June 2000.....which means....
more time to go flying!
money spent on jewerly now buys Jett engines!
money spent on presents now buys Airplanes!
