I think that gas/gow fuel with 6-8% oil content should work great with these big bore engines, also maybe the stock carb will be easyer to fine tune because of the methanol content, this is just a guess.
Maybe is time to experiment again I have a Magnum 1.8 that is begging to be converted to gas/glow
