IF I remember right, the 27MHz band wasn't narrow banded. If your radio is still in good shape, you could have it converted to that band, though I wouldn't use a 27MHZ set for anything that leaves the ground. I'm thinking about that for a 1986 vintage Futaba Conquest four channel
