Default RE: IMAC Bootcamps (newbie question)

Ken,

Thanks for the invite. We may be calling you this spring... I'll start out in Basic and see where it goes from there. We are putting together a H9 CAP 232G w/ a DA 50. I'll be buying some CF parts to replace the gear and wing tube. Haven't decided on a prop / spinner. I may decide for a 3-bladed, not sure. Looking for a good exhaust system for the DA-50 also. Any thoughts? This is my first gas plane, so I'm open for suggestions...I will say I'm an Airtronics guy though.

I've ordered Airtronic servos 94758 for A/E, 94358 for R, and 94761 for T. Getting a micro servo for the choke. Planning on a 6v regulated power w/ Lipo (undecided) still reviewing info and getting feedback before committing $$$.

Trying to get it as light as I can...

We fly out of Evansville, IN. 500ft concrete runway w/ side by side grass runway. Pretty openfield and membership is about 100. However, no one is competing in Pattern or IMAC. Many good sport pilots and much better than I. Guess we'll have to get it started... We flew at one IMAC contest last year w/ a Focus 2M Pattern plane.

Thanks for your help...

Larry and Lisa
