I'm 45 years old and have been building since I was 14 I learned to fly at 16. Building literally hundreds of planes over the years I have learned many skills I could write a book. These planes range from many simple trainers to complex multi engine, retractable landing gear war birds and jets. To the very large scale TOC (Tournament of Champions) 3-D Extras, caps, Sukhois and Yaks. I love to build and cover planes almost as much as flying them maybe even a bit more. For me however there are no better Sunday flyers than the classic Sig kits like the Sig Kadet, hog bipe, Four star and Something Extra. However if war birds are your flavor you can never go wrong with Top Flite series of kits all are well engineered and fly great but require more skills as a builder and pilot to have complete success.
