Yes, the pin layout is different than the RCD programmer. I think that pin 2 is the plus and that is what I thought it should be when I had checked things when It didn't work. I show 12V between pin 2+ and pin 17- which is what the schematic of the JDM shows. I really felt stupid but feel exonerated now. It is the schematic for the RCD and not me.

The question I have now is how do I know that mikroC is programming the chip. I had run it yesterday, just for the heck of it, without anything connected and it said that it wrote to the chip.
