Default RE: Welcome to Club SAITO !

Hello Saito fans. I'm installing my first Saito in a MoJo 60 and plan to use a velocity stack. Here is a pic of the stack as installed on the engine, and the engine installed on the plane.

For anyone not familiar with the MoJo, it's a profile plane and I'm just at the stage where I need to fit the engine. I'm still quite a ways from finishing it up. I have two questions for you guys. First, there is only about 4 to 5 mm of clearance between the stack and the fuse. Is this adequate or might it affect the engine's ability to draw in air. Second, there is lots of daylight between the stack's mounting place and the face of the carb's barrel. I'm guessing this is normal, but wanted to make sure I wasn't supposed to seal this with RTV or something. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!
