Guys:

What experience have you had with transporting your turbines (in or out of the model) as checked luggage on an airliner? Florida is going to be my first attempt, and I'm just wondering what experiences you've had doing it.

I am aware of options like Forward Air or other freight companies, I'm just looking for experiences trying to get your stuff on board the airplane.
