Default RE: Official Thread for the Go 21 Engine

Finished break in and after about 16 tanks had the motor set at race tune yesterday at practice. I'm running Byron's %30 and a Sportwerks HT pipe with the short "U" header and a 13t bell in my Mayhem Pro. It was really cold at the track-about 25 degrees f on the track but the motor stayed rock solid at 225 and idled all day.

I drag raced my buddy with a modded RB WS72 in a Losi 8 down the 110' back straight repeatedly and he had nothing on me. I know he had better traction however. I had to brake before the motor topped out so I can't wait for summer so I can hit the 215' straight.

The motor had no problems getting me over the somewhat tight but flowing in field with no problems. So far so good. For the price I'd say it's a winner. Longevity is the next question but I'm confident.
