A couple of things:

Archie, I'm with you. The airplanes are evolving with 3D capable Scale Aerobatic planes, specific 3D planes and then there are the splits between 3D and pattern planes. (I have a new Diablo 2000 that splits them all. Scale Aerobatic design, looks like a pattern plane with 3D surfaces.)

I am excited in the current direction the aerobatic designs are going. Can't wait to see what we have in a year from now, 5 years from now. WOO HOO!!!!!

dilyon: The Laser 3D is almost a carbon copy of a Madness. They both fly much like the Flip. The big difference is the rudder. The Flip is 100% rudder. Both the Laser and the Madness both can come in at 4.5 The flip is a bit heavy for its size, (it could loose a pound) however flys great.
