Hi,
Thanks for the input. I didn't think there was a major problem doing that. I have two of the Telebee GR701 gyros, shame to let them go to waste.
Since the Airtronics gyro is basically trash, I confiscated the plugs off it anyway. I have attached, soldered and shrink wrapped it to one of the jumpers for the gyro. I don't have a second plug, yet, so I just swapped the wires in the other jumper.
Next job is to get a servo to work with it. Now comes the serious money part.
