weeber24, thanks for the reply. i did install the blind nuts like you did. i flew an alpha with these floats and love em!! the durabililty was tested today and i'm pleased to say it did great. my partner and i were flying while i had the master and he had slave controller i accidently released the switch and the plane did a nose dive and came donw really hard and it just bounced back in the air and kept flying. it bent one strut slightly(bent back) and chiped gel as float flexed. no structure damage at all, just fix gel and bend strut back. it was a severe hit, if itt werethe ground it would suffered fuselage damage.
