I'm trying a new setup on one of my jets. I'm using a 10X radio with an R-2000 receiver and a Deans base load antenna. I am getting only about 33 paces with the antenna out of the transmitter which is about 105'. On another jet using a Modelbau-USA coiled whip antenna I can walk over 100 paces using the same transmitter, channel and an R-2000 receiver.

Is this just a trait of the Deans or is something wrong here?
