You would think that is how it would work, but every aeroplane behaves differently to flaperon/spoileron. My Sig SE would balloon up every time I lowered flaperon, and pitch down with spoileron. Other planes behave opposite. At any rate, you should test your plane with VERY minute adjustmens to try this method. The last thing you want is an inadvertant nosedive (or balloon into a low altitude stall) upon takeoff!

However, I would shim the wing for a (in my opinion) better solution.
