Default RE: Skymaster F-4E phantom

awww SH** that's a shame ! ! i remember years ago i had a favorite wing man. p-40 that i forgot to check the alieron servo direction before a flight and i lost it. the plane didn't have the value of your gripen for sure ,but i sure beat myself up for not preflighting before taking off. i had just put the radio back in it .
i also built a brand new boomerang xl for a friend . on the first landing , just before rolling level the radio went into failsafe and the plane did a slow turn into the ground. that was a the pocono airport this past september. i do feel your pain. i remeber seeing your plane on skymaster's website i think . that was an awsome paint job .just beautiful !!

Warbird 1, I made a classic mistake of rushing the build to get the plane to the painter and then rushing the install upon getting back painted. I forgot to inspect the wing servo mounts and I only tacked the mounts in prior to painting the plane. Well 1 minute into the flight and the servo's let go. [&o]

I can not give an evaluation on the short flight I had....[&o]

judging by the video , you had bad alieron flutter. how did that gripen fly for you? off grass? i had one but i didn't want to start out with it 'cause it felt like it had a real high wing loading . better luck next time
