We have a couple of G-62's a G-45 & G-26 in the fleet. All are running the stock mag ignition with no sheilding anywhere.
Have used both FM & PCM radios (Futaba & Airtroniics) Never have seen a problem. Follow what AirWizard posted and you should be OK, Also be sure to balance your props. IMO you may be more subject to interference if you install electronic ignition although you will have easier starts with them. Good Luck I think you will like gas.
