The G-38 is a heavy not so powerful engine. From what I have read about it the Zenoah's are very reliable. If you can keep the tail light then you could use a lighter motor and save a pound or so. That would be signifigant. It is often possible to package your receiver battery (even increase capacity and/or cell count to five instead of lead) next to a glow engine to reduce lead. The Moki 1.8 is kind of heavy at 44 or so ounces but a great motor and powerful, I had one. The OS 160 is much lighter but not as powerful, the Saito 180 less powerful still. I have not used YS engines but they seem very powerful. I don't like to spend money on nitro and try for simple reliable motors. The max nitro I use is 10% even in Saito's. The old Moki's (before DPM) run on 0% nitro.
