Once you make flames, you may never do it again. If making many flames, make some lite ply templates, starting with the darkest going to lightest to determine the overlap. I use Ultracoat with great results. Cut and seam all pieces on a glass plate using windex as necessary. I figure to flame my sportster I had to cut about 200 individual pieces.

Won't do it again!!
