Just because the shape is correct doesn't mean it could fly. Is there room for an engine, servos, linkages, tank, retracts, batteries and reciever? Can all the detail handle the stresses of powered flight? What would it take to get the plane properly ballance and what would the final weight be?
I don't think it's fair to compare a beautiful static model to an RC, even if the static model started life out as an RC kit.
