Ok, this is something that I may wish, I'd never posted just because some of you "Classic" guys, may buy them all up!
While waiting on my CA-T2AMKII I was looking around for something quick, easy and inexpensive to fly on a .46ish size engine. And since I'm just a low/middle income type of "Redneck Texan", I don't have unlimited funds to buy custom built/ready to fly planes so I have always built from plans, pulled wreckage from the dumpster at the field, or used butcher paper, a photograph and a custom made ruler and built my aircraft.
So while looking at some of the ONLINE vendors, those at least that I remember, that seem to appreciate my hard earned dollars, I thought of Jim Martin over in Tennessee. He always seemed to have that plane that was a bit "different" but affordable and some of the neatest accessories and tools, that were either NOT made here or were just not available. I began browsing his wares and "clicked" on the GLOW AIRCRAFT icon and this plane jumped off the page at me.
It looks like the old "Lou Andrews" Sport Master, which I had built from a borrowed set of plans years ago. I love the double tapered wing (Super Kaos), Canopy (with pilot), tricycle gear(fixed), and I couldn't believe the WS-61" lots of wing!
Then reading on, I discover that the ailerons are HINGED and PINNED i might add, Elevator is hinged, Rudder is hinged all pinned in the old fashioned way so I look and see that it is covered completely. I only have to join the wing, glue the horizontal and vertical stabs on the fuse, install the tank (included) put servos in the fuse because all the push rods are cut and installed ! ! ! ! Put the wheels on the axles (all included) gas this puppy up and go fly! ! Certainly an "OVERNIGHT" build for anybody with just a tiny bit of experience.
So I'm sharing this with my Classic/BPA Buds as this might be a Great plane to have a ONE DESIGN CONTEST!
Now, I have a BRAND new OS 55 hung on the nose (as yet not run) but it should be a dynamite engine for this airplane. After all I flew my "Sportmaster" on a ST-56 for those that remember them.
Below you will see some pictures of mine. I think I'll order another one today as I'm sure they will be sold out quickly when you guys see how great this little plane is...IMHO!
Discovered I forgot to mention that it also comes with a Bright RED spinner for the engine(included in the kit) So its simply the most complete package, I've ever seen for a very reasonable price. (IMO)
Here are the pictures:
