Default RE: 1/12 ME-109E & P-51 Mustang

formerlyknownasAWB,

Welcome to the 1970's. Back in the late '70's these where great kits and the instructions where something else with good pictures. A lot of kits back then had typed instructions if that much. Very few had pictures. Yes, by todays standards they aren't that good but the end result is well worth it.

If you read the instructions closely for the installation of a .10/.15 you'll notice that the firewall is set back and the nose is shortened a bit to help counter the weight. I'd be leary about putting the servo's in the tail but that is also a personal choice. You'll want to run at least an HS-81 servo for the elevator, and if you're going to fly with a .15 you may want to consider installing the rudder as well. When I eventually get around to building my ME-109 it'll most likely have a .15 and 4-channels if not 5 (for retracts).
