Some times minimal control can be fun. I flew a rudder only plane once that would roll. Little tiny thing, .020 engine and no throttle or elevator or ailerons. It would take off from a paved runway, fly and manuever by rudder and when the engine died glide back to a gentile landing on the wheels right down the runway centerline. That was back in about 1980.
