Hey Mike,
If you like building MK kits you'll LOVE the Addiction kit. I have one that I fondle regularly. MK kits are still very nice, but laser cutting makes for perfect parts fit. The Addiction parts fit is terrific which will reduce amounts of adhesive required. I'm sure the built up weight prior to finish is very light.
It cost me $750 US to get a kit delivered to my door, but worth every penny in my opinion!
