We use 3" wheels as the norm for our grass field. In some cases the front wheel is 1/4" smaller than the main wheels. In that case we use 2 3/4" for the front wheel and 3" wheels for the mains. They are large enough that when my Seafury hit a gopher hole with one wheel, it just bounced a bit on that side and kept going!!
