Default RE: anyone tried building a gas conversion float or seaplane?

That plane is just so incredibly nice. I couldn't bring myself to build such a nice plane unless I had a perfect pond or lake to fly off of, around here its not easy to access the kind of area that a plane like that would demand. I would want a HUGE amount of water to set it down on if problems arose, and little to no chance of people getting near my flying zone.

I hoped maybe someone had built a single engine version of a seamaster or something that was powered by a 25cc conversion. Something like that I could beat around and not feel as guilty Besides it would be good on the snow as well...

I was a little surprised the 1/4 scale cub was powerfull enough to fly on a 4 cycle 25cc. My 2cycle 25cc motors are not tweaked so to speak. We just do a quick low tech conversion ...I guess my friend and I enjoy doing it on the cheap even when we can afford more.... I sure love the twin though ....
