Default RE: official smartech buggy thread

Upgrading to stronger parts means the next part in line will be more vulnerable to breakage. Once you have converted all parts to aluminum, your car will take more abuse, but breakage will begin at some point at the same parts for the same reason.
Remembr, don't hit any solid or fixed objects! And jumping? Well, we've been over that: Self-explanatory.

I got my buggy back together minus the front dogbones, since the universal-joint pieces were discontinued or something... So, I went ahead and removed the front diff, since I had it all apart anyway. Put it together again, and now I have no throttle/brake servo! Nothing! I ordered another one from a Traxxas Revo (high torque) off eBay. No idea what killed it. Hope to be running again in a few days.... In the meantime, I will just have to go fly my Storm Launcher. I got two extra battery packs (with chargers) today, so now I have three for close to an hour of fly time!
