Default RE: CX2 Inner Shaft Question

Jim, unfortunately, the plastic upper rotor hub is molded onto the shaft. While it is removable, the damage is permanent because you have to destroy the hub to remove it. Thankfully, the replacement inner shaft, including the new plastic upper hub, is only $6.99. Keep in mind that you may continue to break those hubs. I broke mine on the first flight. Thus, I might suggest replacing the hub with the upgraded CNC aluminum hub. Both MicroHeli and E-flite make a version, and while their visual style differs a bit, both are equally functional on the CX/2. At that point, if you bend the shaft, you need only replace the shaft and not the head (shaft is available from microheli.com for $3.99). The aluminum head bolts on using an allen/hex set screw. Hope this helps. Neall
