Thanks for the info guys. I have replaced my inner shaft before & it is not that expensive. I just happen to look in the manual and it showed the shaft, head, and hub all as seperate parts & I could not see how they would be replaced individually.

I plan to go to the aluminum version if my LHS has one tomorrow.
