I need help understanding how the 4 channels get hooked up and if I could do anything better.I have a 5 channel Hytec flash 5,5 channel radio. The arf kit wants you to connect the elevators together and work in unison and I guess they want the ailerons to work with the rudder channel? but then how would you use the ailerons on both wings at the same time for landing. What Im hoping is that there is enough room for anouther servo in the tray so I can operate the elevators independantly.I have mix functions on this radio.
then i can use my 5th channel as a flap channel which is a toggle with two positions.
can you use two channels on the flaps?
I was thinking that i could mix the rudder channel to control each each flap for turning but when landing I could throw #5 switch to lower both flaps? Or would this send juice to the rudder channel and not work.?
How would you wire up this bird? with what I have to work with. Thanks for any help.
