Default RE: 'Tiki' build thread

Hallo Bill
Eheheheh....."a simple modification"....eehhheheh!!
Each time you post an image I feel the urge to begin with a Tiki. I like the idea of not over-damaging your Tiger. Nice hinges and supports details. Keep on with your nice work!
The "Turmhebepilzen" also known as "Pilzen"(mushrooms) were the tower lifting points (3) mushroom-shaped.Two were fitted at the outside of the gun trunnions and the third at the rearmost upper middle of the turret. The reproduction of the side "Pilzen" needs just two disks of any suited material to be cemented to the outside of the existing HL trunnions. The rear "mushroom" is a little more difficult to implement in an HL Tiger, as you need to increase the depth of the hole between the stowage bins. maximum inside depth is limited to 7mm if you intend to keep the firing mechanism.

The sketch comes from the Tiger Info Center and has real quotes in mm.
Hope it helps
Jose
