Ok tonight’s efforts. Post 1
Almost got the engine in but that will be tomorrow now.

Pic 1 and 2 shows the tailpipe in place with the 10mm gap set.
Pic 3 shows 4 holes made in the back of the tailpipe to accommodate spacers.
Pic4 shows 4 10mm spacers and short screws. The spacers are hollow and filled with epoxy. They are then slid into position and the screw placed through the tube hole and into the epoxy. See pic 5, which shows it in position while epoxy sets.
The spacers are not screwed to the inner tailpipe so the pipe can move with expansion.
The tape is removed afterwards.
