Default RE: Wheeeeeeee.......... Blade CP!

REPORT # 1
RICK here, remember the 70yearold phartt ?
I am here to say THANKS to all of you in this FORUM, you have been a wonderful , useful, etc source of good and valid information to help me get started in these small HELIS...!!! THXX
As I show you in the pic... my fleet of 3 is here. Today, after mouth surgery I came home from work and with some time on my hands, opened the CX-2 box and set to it. I don't know how much credit I should give myself : BUT I was able to operate the CX2 for the duration of the factory charged battery with ABSOLUTE perfection, once the trims were dialed in _ VERY small corrections necessary, the heli took flight. In a matter of seconds, I think all my SIM experience must have kicked in because I TOTALLY CONTROLLED the Blade..... Parked it at
3ft. then rotated a full 360degrees. then went the opposite direction only this time stopping at each 90degree quarter....went forward, backwards, left and right. Climbed to 5 feet ( I am 6'1") lowered again down to 6"..... the ONLY thing I need to do is REMOVE THE RATCHET on the throttle control..... just one click over and the CX2 shot up one foot in the air !.....
I will continue to practice w/CX-2 but will begin applying ALL YOUR SUGGESTIONS AND TIPS for the CP, my next project......
I thank CRASHCRASH and DAVE for their input, also LOOKYJ .... hey ! can you teach me how to UPLOAD VIDEO ? RCUniverse has no primer.....how do I make an UPLOADABLE FILE from a video tape ? that is where I get stuck.
SO : here is my picture today, after the very first FLIGHT..... AWESOME
ps maybe I am overrating myself, huh ???
